"...CHRISTMAS IN STATE COLLEGE..." Happy Valley cannot imagine that starlit night so long ago;
On the Hillsides of Bethlehem Shepherds heard the ANGELS;
BETHLEHEM birthed its best showing...a message to bestow,
JESUS WAS BORN, The Sky proclaimed without "Jingle Bells."

MORE THAN BLUE and WHITE Lights came into play that eve;
LOVE was wrapped and sent to this lowly bed of hay.
ANGELS, SHEPHERDS, Wise men know; MUSIC composed/leave;
CHRISTMAS means LIFE, LOVE, JOY...Faith, Hope, Cheer to stay.

This year 2006 will always chart the blessings of the KING..!
Thousands here will remember the CHRIST of CHRISTMAS;
Came to our Mountain City to reveal His Majesty, We sing;
Worship, Heard the WORD, the WAY has made, JOY to last..!

To me CHRISTMAS means 65 years of LOVE, Accepting Christ..!
My wife, Joyce joined me in 1959...47 years of FAITH and TRUST;
These Many CHRISTMASES has me refined, Our Son first,
Our Daughter, next...then our Four Granddaughters Thrust.

NINE YEARS in STATE COLLEGE, PENNSYLVANIA brings to mind;
The Joys of Our College Avenue Location, Just to reflect.
TWO years there, SEVEN years here = shines like lights to find,
All Colors, Lights, Sounds, Meaning...CHRISTMAS Introspect..!
