EASTER
Did you know the word Easter evolved from "Eostre."?
In ancient times, the Anglo-Saxons celebrated the return of spring with a carnival commemorating Eostre-the goddess of Dawn and Spring.
The Sprintgtime festivals of Eostre took place around the same time of year the Christian observance of the Resurrection of Christ. The birth rituals of spring and the triumph of life over death were historical events that were eventually brought together to be called Easter.
In England, they have EASTER CONVENTIONS in the churches at EASTER TIME and the singing of HANDEL'S MESSIAH..very popular
Until 1784, the French forbid the eating of eggs during Lent. Eggs collected during this time were either hatched or preserved for eating at Easter. The eggs would then be decorated and often colored red to symbolize the Easter joys to entice the children to eat them.
In England they began writing messages and dates on their eggs and then exchanging them with friends and loved ones.
Hot cross buns were among the earliest Easter treats,
made by European monks and given to the poor during Lent.
Candy is a relatively recent Easter tradition. Chocolate eggs, the most popular Easter candy, were first made in Europe in the early 1800s.
RESURRECTION SUNDAY usually is observed by many churches in the USA as an EARLY "Sun-rise" Service...beleiving that Jesus "rose from the dead" early in the morning..!
Now we serve a "Living Jesus Christ"...! HALLELUJAH...!

WIND
"....KITES and WIND..."
Though the Windy days come strong in the month of MARCH....What GREAT OPPORTUNITY awaits the "KITE-FLIERS"...!
Wind is an untapped power to create STRENGTH and BUOYANCY...! KITES thrive on Wind for their CLIMBING POWER...!
TRANSLATION IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM: "Storms of Life may and always do come..!"
You were CREATED to "FLY" in the WINDY STORMS of life....just like the EAGLE..! The EAGLE heads for the heart of the storm to "CLIMB" to unfathomed heights..where the SUNSHINE is in its FULL GLORY..! STORMS are "POWER CENTERS" for AERODYNAMIC FEATS of CLIMBING..!
